“The One That Got Away”

2024 Mixed Media Sculpture

This carved driftwood longhorn cow skull boasts a very impressive set of hand forged steel horns, spanning a whopping 46 inches in width! The lifesize skull is inlaid with turquoise, chrysocolla and double terminated quartz crystals. Perhaps the most amazing part of this piece is the hand forged steel lariat, complete with a real hondo knot on one horn base, right down to the frayed end where she took some cowboys rope and kept it for a souvenir! Perfect tabletop sculpture for a very impressive (and long) table.

2023 Mixed Media Sculpture

This unique piece is carved from Montana driftwood, inlaid with turquoise and chrysocolla, and sealed with resin, which is also used in the base. He sports beautiful, hand-forged steel horns and he has a little friend...a hand forged steel rattlesnake who had gone hunting a little shade under a majestic, life size, buffalo skull. The snake is only visible if you look, and this piece displays very well on a turntable. He would be at home in a public space as an eye-catching piece of Montana! Custom pedestal is available.

“Bear Paw Beauty Queen”

2023 Mixed Media Sculpture

This life size driftwood cow skull was inspired by a very pretty, very cranky cow I met one time in the Bear Paw Mtns of Montana. She is inlaid with turquoise, pink opal. black onyx and chrysocolla, and featuring some really stunning hand forged steel horns. Her crowning glory is the cluster of forged steel roses, made to exactly replicate the Harrison’s Yellow rose, also known as the Oregon trail rose, or the Yellow Rose of Texas. Custom pedestal available for this piece.

“Rain Came Too Late”

2023 Mixed Media Sculpture

This piece depicts a Navajo Churro ram skull, carved from Montana driftwood, inlaid with turquoise, chrysocolla and yellow opal. He has an impressive set of hand forged steel horns and an equally delicate forged steel dragonfly perched on a horn curl. The Navajo Churro are the oldest breed of sheep in North America, and can have mulitple horns. The epoxy resin forms the water element and also seals the wood and stones for stability. Very unique, one of a kind sculpture, custom pedestal available.

“Raven Medicine”

2024 Mixed Media Sculpture

A particularly striking, wall mount piece, this lifesize buffalo

skull is inlaid with turquoise, chrysocolla and black onyx.

He features unique resin work, showcasing the stones

in a crystal ball-like effect. His handforged steel horns give

him and impressive presence and the forged, irridescent

steel raven feathers are a work of art all on their own.

This piece has a custom made, somewhat positionable,

and very secure wall mount.

“Old Warrior”

2023 Metal Sculpture

Stunning, life size, hand forged replica of an authentic

Stetson hat, with a beautiful copper hatband that holds a forged split feather. The feather is a tradition Native American symbol of a warrior that was wounded many times in valor...a symbol of bravery and perseverance. The base is a beautiful example of the blacksmith trade with it’s traditional joinery and forged ball feet.
